Sold it. He had cash in hand. Now it's in my hands. Full price. He really wanted it.
Funny thing, it's still sitting in the driveway. He's supposed to pick it up next Sunday.

Ballsy fellow! Paying full price and not taking it with. Especially with a man like you selling it!

Would your drive shaft work with the DC with your long bed glass or would you have to get a new drive shaft to work with it?

He couldn't find a place to rent a trailer and truck on a Sunday.
    No surprise there.
He's supposed to have a U-Haul trailer and truck rented Saturday evening and be here by noon on Sunday. Supposed to.
I dgaf. I have the cash, he's got the keys. I'll start charging rent after next Sunday.

Depending on how and where I cut the frame it would just be extending the shaft in front of the carrier bearing, rear would stay stock as I have a spare one of those.

When I was getting out of the military, I sold a '69 Dodge Coronet like this. Guy paid but didn't have a way to take it home and get it off the base. So, I kept the keys in case it needed to be moved for any reason. Weeks went by and I was within a week of moving out of the state and separating. Had to tell the guy to come get it or else I was going to toss the keys inside it and take off. He finally came to get it.

Yeah, I have an extra key too in case I need to move it. I'm sure he'll be here Sunday to get it. He's been in contact with me since the 2nd or 3rd day it hit Craigslist and texted every weekend to make sure I still had it.

I didn't like the length and the limited turning radius of the 1st gen Tundra 4door long bed. I was going to do something similar to what your talking about doing if I would have kept the Tacoma. At least if it is longer it is not fat like a Tundra.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in stock UCA's between TRD and SR5 2nd gens?

I'm putting the stock UCAs from a 2015 limited (assuming that means SR5 parts?) onto a 2005 TRD off-road. Got the driver side on, but the passenger side wont go. Got the long bolt in, but the ball joint stud is getting stuck on the spindle. Like the top half of the ball joint stud is too wide for the spindle by a millimeter or two, so it only seats up to the end of the threads.

Doesn't make sense why the driver's side would fit and not the passenger......or do I just need to BFH it into place?
