    Good question! Its a smittybilt and the winch had an electronic malfunction causing the break. Im gonna have to look in the box to see if there is anything about the warranty.

    Doubt they will warranty the line however if the winch itself malfunctioned and caused the line to break, then they should replace the line if the malfunction is covered under warranty.
