hey y'all, I posted a separate thread about this but got the suggestion to post here... also adding that I may have met a few of y'all a year ago at MOAB 2016... if so I hope we had a blast together because I definitely enjoyed it and will be back!

I am in the very early stages of moving and Colorado (specifically denver area) is at the top of my list of places to be. The company my girlfriend works for has an office there in Denver so that would make the move a little easier.

In terms of me however, I'm looking to make a career change into something that has greater long term potential and growth opportunity. I have a B.S. in Anthropology and have worked as a field tech in archaeology for some time after college but got out if the field due to a lack of decent pay. I now work in landscaping and while I like the work I hate the pay and the fact that unless I start my own company in it I'll never make more than $20 an hour.
I've taught myself how to weld over the last few years and have been home fabbing stuff for my trucks as well as doing repair work for friends and family. I really enjoy fabrication and would like to get into it more. I see there are a few shops around denver and was wondering if anyone on here has a shop they like or know of any that are growing.

If I do make a move it probably wouldn't happen at least until spring but I want to really start looking around now so I've got plenty of time to work out all of the logistics of moving 3/4 of the way across the country.

    Thanks for any ideas!

Any recommendations for an alignment around the Arvada area? Slee is booked out until 8/18 and I've got some suspension changes going on this weekend.

Alright time to start knocking out all this electrical stuff, since I just updated my will. :D

Can someone confirm if this is a Deutsch DT 2 pin female fitting?

If so, where can I get the male version to wire in these 4 pods?

I'll have to look for the link, but you should be able to buy some plug n play pigtails from Amazon.

i have always just cut the ends off. you get a connector and they usually dont come with enough wire or too much wire so you end up cutting or extending the wire anyways. might as well just have 1 connection and have wire to length.

That's the male fitting because there are pins sticking out. You need the female fitting. Is that the retail box? I thought the wiring harness was included with Rigids.

Oops, I order what I hope is this last night, as well as a pack of the connectors for Ditch lights and if the "connector" turns out to not be right.

It is but why not use Stock wire that is already there for the Fogs. Since I had to order both sides of connector (Male & Female) I got lucky for the Ditch lights.

Teach me to post and just order shit without waiting for more responses.

Does anyone have the "special crimper" that the Deutesch site was saying is needed?

Thanks Brian. I Figured you might be buried with work and other stuff when I didn't hear back. I'm thinking I could be okay going another week since I work remote most days so the truck doesn't get driven much during the week. I'm also not going from stock to lifted since I'm already on Icons and going to another coilover, so it may not be off too bad.
Let me know if you can work something out, I'd rather have someone that knows what the hell they are doing aligning it

Anyone going to the Mecum auction in town? Or the Drag races this weekend? Heard there is also a big car show in Golden tonight I am debating on going and checking out.
