I didn't even thing about the gas line run size. I guess I'll have to talk to someone who does that kind of stuff. I hope to have the insulation in before the snow flies this year.

I'm thinking about doing a solo vehicle trip today with my lady up the east side of Rollins Pass. Never done the trail, but it looks mild based on what I've read. Since we're looking for scenery and not technical wheeling, it seems like that might work.

Has anyone here run this recently? Anything to watch out for?

    Thanks in advance!

It definitely a mild trail. There's some pretty good exposure in a few spots, but this SoCal boy was able to deal with it and I hate heights :D Really beautiful views up there. Just keep an eye out for side by sides since there are usually quite a few.

The wife and I are about to head into the mountains soon, but I can't get her on stuff like that yet. We may end up down on Moffat road at some point just to hang out near the creek for a bit and have lunch, so keep an eye out for my truck

    Thanks, Charles!

My girl is pretty adventurous, so I think we'll be alright. Is most of the exposure on the shelf road section? My concern these days is the doofuses on UTVs that don't know trail etiquette, including passing and right of way on the trails.

I'm hoping that we get some killer views of the Indian Peaks Wilderness and that we have enough time to get to the block off and check out the tunnel and bridge.

Thanks again, and we'll keep an eye out for you guys!

Yeah most is on the first section and then a bit more near the top right before the tunnel. Good thing she's adventurous, mine freaks out if it's just a little hillside haha.

Couple of shots from last year to get an idea, these are both headed back down. First is right near the top and the second is on the bottom half:

Has anyone here run 285's on stock rims? I tried installing on my truck and the tire contacts the spindle gusset. Looks like I need wheel spacers, just not sure how thick. Would 1.25" do the trick?

    @thefatkid
Will the 4.10 ring and pinion from the 1st Gen Tacoma fit the 1st Gen Tundra?
    Front and rear?

Yep, it's just a regular 8.4, not the LSD or e-locker.

I want to go arb front and rear and I still have the factory r&p from the taco. I think the tundra came with 3.91 or something like that.

So went to Rocky Mountain National Park today....

I will never go again. Drove there, paid the 20 bucks to go in, drive in and they had signs down so missed the first turn to go to Bear Lake and do a hike. Drove all the way up just to turn around adn drive back down and be told we couldn't go to that area of the park because it was full. They said we could go back to Estes, try to park there and then get on a bus and ride it back in (after waiting in line for 2 hours at the entrance again) to hike the trail. Turned around and left.

Went to Estes and let the dog run at a dog park on the side of the lake and he got to play in the water for the first time and loved it. Had more fun for 15 minutes at the dog park than at the national park.

Also was surprised about no hiking with dogs, I guess makes sense, but still was pretty surprised. My bad there, just read that dogs were allowed, didnt see the part about not allowed on trails only in cars and picnics areas.

Came home, hit up a close by brewery that allowed dogs and sat there.
