On a separate note, I realized that the pealing weatherstrip on my driver's side window looks like a silhouetted Arizona landscape

Yeah I have usually kept it running for a while if it's hot. But the tough climbs and harder sections were long gone by that point, it was just slow cruising which was why i figured it had cooled to normal and we were planning to stop for a while. But apparently the residual heat was still there... Won't do that again. It did feel much warmer than the turd gen that was behind me.

I was thinking about painting the chrome so it resembles a desert sunset.

That explains the lack of replies to texts...

    Stuff. Also things.
Going camping with my lady this weekend, from Thursday morning through Sunday morning. Seeing as I'm still pretty noobish as far as where to find good (preferably secluded) dispersed camping here, I figured I'd hit y'all up and see what you'd suggest.

I love the San Juans, but I don't think we have enough time to really enjoy a trip that far away. But I'm game for anything within 4 hours of the Denver-Boulder shitshow. Jumping off point would be Westminster if we head south, or Longmont if we head north, FYI.

    Thanks in advance!

Go run middle saint verian and cooney flats. You have to drive a mile into msv before you can camp any where and by then you really thin the herd on who can get there. The camping spots right by the creek are amazing it would be a 2 day thing but you could run it and then run back down there and run t33 planecrash and things like that over there. Miller rock is even pretty close to right there

What's a good emissions testing place to go to? Gotta get the saabaru tested before I sell it. Stupid Colorado laws. Driving down from winter park so closer the better. Also what should I make sure to do before I take it to get tested? Never in my life have I had to get emission testing.

I have it listed up here in grand county and in Denver. Been getting people from Denver mainly interested so I want to get it tested just so I can say it passes emissions.
