God's Country. That is how I feel about Colorado. I am from Arizona and have spent the last week in the Durango, Silverton area. I have driven over Ophir Pass (On a Telluride run) and visited Clear Lake. Got to check out Animas Forks too. (We were looking hard at Engineer's Pass but weather set in) Absolutely the finest display of God's handiwork I have had the pleasure of seeing. Looking to get back there as soon as possible!!!! If you haven't already checked it out, the vodka at Telluride Distillery is second to none! Cannot beat sugar cane vodka for smoothness!!! You guys are lucky S.O.B's!!!

I will look into them Thank ya. I don't plan on building or needing a slide either so might be alright.

Getting rid of the smaller one?

Only reason I'd do a slide (home made) is because mine would me lengthwise in my trailer, and I'd slide it out for easy access

Haha figured that would get a rise. I am enjoying what little of the CO sights I have seen. But MT will always be #1 in my eyes.

Ah makes sense. I can see the handyness, I jsut hate to lose my entire backseat.

In Alaska one of my teams trucks wouldn't start so the mechanic was checking it out. He kept tell me to crank and crank and crank to try and start it until we smelled something burning. Opened the compartment between the front seats to the engine and a ball of fire erupted from under the cover. The starter caught on fire and lit the truck up ha. Fortunately no injuries and the only damage was the starter.

When I was in Iraq, we had a tech come down from Baghdad to check out a vehicle (the local crew couldn't fix it). When he showed up and saw it, he laughed. He said it was on their "wall of shame." Seems some trucks show up more often for work/repair than others, and then there are "those" trucks which just get a reputation.
