I'm ordering some new copper eyelets so I can relocate my winch solenoid. Does anyone know off the top of your head what the stud size is on the winch? 3/8, 1/4, 5/16, 1/2? I don't know if they are different depending on manufacturer.

It's all in your line. Some people say it's easy, some people say it's hard. Overall, if you've got the armor and skill, you'll probably be alright.

1/0. Same wire I got from you way back when. Gotta move the solenoid from drivers side over to passenger side now. I might have to get another piece of wire from you if the power cable isn't long enough.

Just curious, did you ever use steroid inhalers for asthma or allergies, such as Flonase?

I did, and I have cataracts at age 44. No family history of eye issues. but I have heard that cataracts can be a side effect of long-term use of those inhalers.

nope, no allergies, never used inhalers, no long term medications.
But it can be fixed and supposedly better vision than before. So that's kind of exciting.

Yeah, that's what they tell me, too. But I hate doctors so I am putting it off for as long as possible. I can still see good enough to work and drive.

Good luck with your surgery.

Cool. I've got all the material for the switch console. I just need the lugs because I'll need to re terminate the 1/0 going to the winch since I'm gonna move it to the passenger side of the engine compartment. Lemme know if you have the lugs. If not I'll get em. Just needed to know the stud size. Thanks

To any of my tacoma world peeps that know about body work.

I had some PDR and body work done on my tacoma, i got the truck back today and when i got to work i noticed this. It doesnt come off by rubbing with my finger or a wet cloth. The shop said they think its a polishing compound and to bring it back in and they will get it off but i feel like i would be able to rub polishing compound off with my finger or a rag. Its super smooth feeling. Thoughts?

That looks sanded, and they forgot to polish it after. Should come right out with a polish though.
