But they are great tires. How can you have so much hate for them?

 

Get a cheap set of wheels and put snows on them. Discount swaps my wheels for free, since I'd get run over in my APT complex if I was changing tires in the parking lot. Drop a bit of cash on programmable tpms sensors for the new wheel.

I have nothing but love for my ST MAXX tires. Although some people seem to see them wear put quickly.

 

I second the 1st part of this statement - haven't had them long enough to contribute on the 2nd part.

 

I obviously wont be going with such an aggressive tire, especially since I will still be using the truck for business and commuting at this time, I was thinking Discover ATP so at least give me a little bit of off-road traction.

I'd rather just buy one set. When I had smaller cars I ran summer and winter tires, but I can can get a good AT tire that is snow rated so why wouldn't I?
