Anyone done all or parts of the Colorado backcountry discovery route in their Tacoma? Sounds like it's pretty mellow but would make for a cool trip with good scenery and camping.

I did a 150 mile or so stretch in an XT225. Nice views, not technical/difficult at all. Our 'support vehicle' was a 4-door Wrangler and he went slow because he 'didn't want to shake the beer'. I wouldn't hesitate to take my Tacoma on it. Just watch out for ATV's, certain parts of the COBDR have them.

Think about that for a bit. Just big enough to be a pain in the ass to move is what I think youd want

Ours open at 6, which is when I typically start work. And I'm lucky enough to be able to work remote. Great place to start the day and get some work done in quiet.....and a nice view of the front range.

Maybe he's talking about the GS1200? Two of the guys I went with had them, and if you Google the CO BDR, everyone in the pictures has one, too. Blame it on 'The Long Way Around'.
Anyways, they are very heavy and cumbersome, and very hard to get back upright if you fall over offroad, which is very easy to do.

I thought maybe he quoted the wrong person? I had no idea what was going on, actually I still don't, I'm lucky I remembered to put on pants.
