    This. The dumb asses that did my home sale inspection were licensed PE's. They failed to calbrate the Radon guage and to disclose the adjustment factor on the report, they also made written comments totally unfounded to make their findings seem significant. I am a PE and have been in Civil/Structural practice for 34 yrs. Neither one of the stooges that did my inspection should be licensed or be allowed to own or use a tape measure let alone a pencil. After my scathing letter to the buyer's Realtor the 27 page inspection check list boiled down to two minimal items. The "inspectors" were never heard from again. Yes radon is potentially a health risk. Unfortunately the Realtors are doing exactly what you have noted - taking advantage of sellers, buyers and the market.

    I will throw this out there should anyone else going to the Mod day want one... $5 bucks each, I think we made the sticker between 5 and 6" wide, I will have to check this evening, cant remember of the top of my head.
