Slow down at least 20%, that is if your machine settings match your material being welded. Not bad for a part time stick slayer!

Here is a good info for many trails. Free to sign up.

I’d be up for more trails stuff but been wrenching every weekend, and only have Sunday - Monday’s off which makes some events hard for me to attend

That's what Corey told me. I'm still trying to figure out which pattern to run. The pattern that I used for the weld in the image is working well for me. It stay's pretty consistent. But the weld is thin. It doesn't cover enough of the top and bottom plate. So running slower and going higher from top to bottom should work out. I still need more pratice and clean metal to practice on.

I'm running 240. The welder does the same welds in 110 too. But the welder can't weld thicker 3/16" in 110. If I run 220 I can do 3/8" steel. I have a Miller 215.

Thats a nice machine. Always have liked millers. But the right deal came up on a Lincoln 180 so thats what i bought. Built my trailer with it so it does pretty good. Still want a miller though...

If Ft. Collins was Green River Utah the best burger place would be Rays. Hands down the best burger I have ever had, and they serve cold tap beer! Go there. Try it. You will like it.

I thought it was part of the state law that there had to be a minimum of a $15 dollar charge or something for a ffl transfer. I could be wrong but I remember that from somewhere

    That's disgusting.

Almost as disgusting as Indianapolis being known for PB&J on their burgers.
