An older 400 can be a trail/ dual sport.
That’s why I asked what it was. More than likely it’s a 250 or 450 but it’s still a bike and needs to be ran.

He never said it was an xr

    I just said it was a Honda 400ish. :p

    So must be a 450

Right now it's an MGM Tacoma front bumper holder. Someone needs to need that stupid thing.

I haven’t looked into it yet. My main concern now is mounting of two batteries to handle what I throw at it.

Happy Festivus, Happy Holidays to all of you still in Coloronky for the winter. I bugged out after Thanksgiving so I could have an easy trip over I70 and I15 to Nevada. Frankly, wife, kids, MIL like the house better without me whining and moaning all winter. They also get the trailer out of the driveway and the 4Runner out of the garage so life is easier all around.

Not exactly balmy in the NV desert, the dog's water dish is icing up overnight. Though nice to be able to step out of the trailer anytime day or night in shorts and sandals and have acres and acres of land to roam around in instead of dealing with keeping the dog on the leash in the neighborhood.

Michelin LTX Ms2's are doing pretty good in the soft sand. I've been surprised how well they handle sand and mud, have good tread depth on them, that is always helpful. 4Runner is V8 with fulltime 4WD.

I was trying to yank the trailer out of soft sand and the Michelins didn't get me stuck. They dug in trying to haul the trailer uphill in soft sand, but were able to back out. Of course, the 3500lb weight of the trailer going downhill helped them dig out.

    Cheers

A 400 is an xr and the indisputable fact remains that he's not worthy of it.

    LOTS of duck tape!!

When you look into wire for it check out temco welding wire on eBay. I used 2 gauge but if your running longer I’d suggest 1/0 wire. Also I did techflex braded sleeving for extra protection against abrasion and cuts

What's so special about an xr vs the other R?

And it's not worthy of me, but I'm a nice guy so I'll let it grace my inner thighs.

Yea and with it being 450 (proably) you’ll find it’s more than enough for everything. And no mixing gas/oil like Asher’s 2 smokes
