Just think of dirt like snow/ice on street. But when you fall at least your not gonna have 10cars on your tail to run you over.

What it sound like your wanting is a dual sport. More street based like the xt250( or equivalent), softer seat smaller 250 and almost impossible to blow up. Not something you’ll be haveing to rebuild ever 40hrs nor do you want to always have extra oil so when you stop at a gas station and fill you have to mix

@kashtyaatsi so maybe he won’t be sending it off any jumps but to keep it quiet to “scoot” down the trail he’s not gonna want to be running at 8k rpm

Engine braking is always a funny thing to talk about. One of my most hated things about thumpers is the engine braking. Also modern off road two strokes have tons of low end torque. I'd argue my 250 2t with a high compression head and torquey pipe has just as much if not more low end than my buddies 350.

When's the last time you rode a modern 2 stroke off-road bike?

You're describing my 150 pretty well, and 250 mx bikes perfectly, but the 250 and 300s don't feel like that at all.

Nice of him to include the 4stroke at the end there so no one felt left out.

Passport replacement PW done this morning.

Looked all over to make sure, and couldn't find it. Pretty sure it was in the truck.

Then I can take advantage of cheap flights for well needed vacations. :D

Xt250? Why would you recommend that? That is only good for fire roads at most.

How did you like the Techflex? Which one did you go with?

Where did you get it from?
