I have had horrible luck with safelite glass. Cracks super easy compared to oem and whatever brand the company in tabernash uses.

time will tell, they seem to know what they were doing as I have no idea.
It was a company called Onsite Auto Glass. Total cost was $234.00, came with the tint strip and to be honest looks like factory accept no "Toyota" name on it.
4runner is a 2x4 anyway, not worth spending the big bucks on it.

Too late now but I had to replace my front glass a few years back and I took it to a place on Mason between Horsetooth and Troutman. Don't remember the name, don't even know if they're still there, but all they charged was cost of the windshield even without insurance (scratch that, I just checked and it seems like it was Anders and they've moved out to the frontage road, but their about page still lists the pricing I describe). For labor, they said 'whatever you want to tip.' I think I paid $120 with $20 tip, but I'd have to dig back and look to be sure. I do know that he told me he might be able to reuse the existing gasket, but sometimes they got stretched or damaged when removing and if that happened he'd have to get another... which would be a part order and something stupid expensive, like $40-80. He was able to reuse the original, but I wasn't totally happy with a couple of spots. Happy enough to save the extra cost vs getting a new one though.

Also, at the time I too did some research on glass companies like Safelite and Novus. Novus was pricier, but I too found pretty consistent reviews about Safelite that the glass they use was prone to chipping and damage much more easily than OEM or other places like Novus. What I got has held up as well or better than the OEM it replaced.

Good thing she's ok. Shit big enough to do that is big enough to kill on impact, never mind the potential accident after. As much as I jump when a small rock hits something, that would scare the shit out of me.

Think RTD will have the A-line fiasco sorted out by then? I dont think they are allowed to open any new lines until they get that shit show taken care of.

Thanks, I found a free one day membership that adds 10% to the price, will still come out cheaper than driving down there.

    True.......

Front Range Driveline has though found a way to run the stock front half of the driveshaft and keep the 26 spline connection at the carrier bearing.

So the trucks been stalling out whenever I gun it and then brake and then gun it again. Like for getting on the fwy. Once the truck stalls I would have to coast to the side of the road and restart the truck. Code comes on and it says throttle body stuck shut. I had Brian check it out not to long ago and he said I need to replace the throttle body. Can’t afford a new one right now from Toyota 1000.00 price tag (camelback) if not more at other dealers. Looked online and found a used one for an 04 4x4 3.4 auto. 200.00 not bad. Picked it up and hopefully it works once I install it this weekend. :fingerscrossed:

Pic of codes from my smog printout and throttle body.

how many miles on the TB before it took the dump? no shot at finding one at grave yard from a yota with few miles for less? hope that solves the problem for an equal number of miles as the first.

I took mine in about 5 months ago for similar looking rust, but they didn't approve it. What dealership did you take it to again?

The throttle body on the motor came with the motor when I bought it. I think the motor had about 117,??? on it. But no way to keep track of miles because the cluster gauge was from a different truck and I never wrote down the starting miles on the new cluster.

The throttle body I just got was from a salvage yard and the miles on the truck was 103,???.
