    an example of this...
Yesterday, the city requested me to look at a project that they need done by this Friday.
i didn't have time to get there yesterday morning, and the contact was taking a "personal" afternoon off. So we agreed to meet today, in the middle of the week.
The hardware they need won't be here until Friday afternoon, which means I won't be there to install until Monday AM.
They do not want to pay extra for next day air, it's really not that much.
They are instead...going to ACE, buying temporary cheapo locksets, installed by some hourly guy who isn't qualified, for use over the weekend and then being replaced again on Monday. The cost of the cheap locks is slightly less than the next day air charge.
    Yay city government.

Dude also could have waited for 10 minutes after his lunch for the meeting and the hardware would be here Thursday, installed by the deadline, and no wasted spending.

There's more, I can go on for pages, just this week alone. It's only Wednesday.

I get tired of the "make it work until we can get money" ideal. The cost in labor to do the job twice is usually more than the part is.

They don't care because it's not their money.
    It's ours.
    And they need more.

To be honest, I deal with the guys who have to answer to 17 different stupervisors. They shake their heads about it too.

I have to agree with @Star-Lord and @Reh5108 on this.

Back when I was in FL the local school board had to “use” there entire budget so the next year they could get more. They were constantly upgrading funerature, ordering letterhead with peoples names on them that when elections came around and they were voted out or changed positions were now trash and had to order more with the new correct names. Did this money go into the school for teachers/students, no it was pointless stuff for the admins. So when i/we hear about how tax cuts directly affect the ones actually doing the work it’s all bs to make voters not wanna do that

    /end rant

Happens at the end of every year. Customers give me money for credit so they get their budget for the following year. Not really complaining on my end..:anonymous:

I think they already cancelled the first event due to ice condition.

While everyone's whining about equal pay and opportunity... It's about time for tall horse jockeys to jump on the bandwagon. Poor tall fellas never had a chance vs the vertically challenged ones.

    @Madjik_Man

Do you remember where you found that Raamaudio coupon? Can't fine one.

Also, which package did you go with? I going to rip our the interior and try to do a fairly complete job. Hoping to make my pile bearable on the highway.

I don't think the raamaudio coupon is honored any more since Rick sold the company. It was a 5% coupon.

I would just call them up though and talk to them and mention TW. They will probably hook you up. (Here's the original thread for reference if it means anything: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/raamaudio-sound-deadener-tw-discount.6255/)

I went with package #1 (man pricing went up.... I bought this for $120 delivered to my door): http://www.raamaudio.com/package-1-...s-ofensolite-iuo-peel-and-stick-41-625-sq-ft/

That was enough to do the rear wall in its entirety, both doors ( I probably went overboard with the raammat, could have used a bit less) in their entirety, the kick panels, and the rear quarter panel (which is pretty rigid to begin with so not much is needed). And I still have a coupe of sheets of raammat and a fair amount of ensolite leftover.

Since you don't give a rat's arse about weight, I'd look into a nice mass loaded vinyl for your firewall and floor. That will help a lot with the road/tire noise when on the highway.

Although you've been in my truck on the highway briefly. I remember you commenting on how quiet the ride was.
