It’s a fucking short! Truck acted up again. Weird really. I had some issues with my tail lights. Long story. Anyways.... noticed my left turn signal started staying on like a bad bulb. Replaced bulb and tried to fix my tail light.

As I was getting in the left lane again i turned on my left turn signal and it didn’t work. So whatever. With that attitude I forgot the left turn signal on. As I was driving I hit a few bumps and the left turn signal come on and off with the truck acting up. Once the turn signal stop glitching the truck ran fine. Ordering new tail lights now. Maybe that wire I tried splicing in was wrong. I’ll take it apart this weekend and leave it off. This will get me by until I get the new tail lights. Oh yeah Brett I’m going to add that extra ground too.

Size always matters... No matter what clever sayings the snowflake generation uses to keep their self esteem high.

I'm just curious who can say anything about the mag size you are shooting with.

I really need to chase this short this weekend before I fry another throttle body or worse burn the truck down like Brandon.

A short would blow fuses, I think you might be back feeding voltage due to a poor ground.

Colorado has a ban on high capacity mags unless you had them prior to the ban. The burden of proof is on an officer and not the person with the magazine. I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

Ok. I know nothing of electrical. I’m trying to learn. That splice back into the tail light was a ground. I’m going to disconnect it at lunch. The reason being the wire I tied it into I don’t know if it’s a hot or ground.

I've heard that most officers of the law don't enforce. In fact, I actually got in trouble a few months ago I was out shooting with some friends 'in the middle of nowhere', turns we picked a spot where we weren't allowed to shoot. The cops showed up, we apologized, they ran our guns' serial numbers, gave us a warning and sent us on our way. Never even mentioned the 30 round magazines we all had.

But I do know some ranges can be super picky about what calibers you use, how fast you shoot, etc, etc. I can totally see a range banning 30 round magazines.

I think right after the law was passed/ announced, just about every CO Police force head said it was unenforceable and they wouldn't try to enforce it.

Really it comes down to the range. It's best to visit their website or call them to see if they have any restrictions on magazine size, caliber, or type of gun that can be shot at their range.
