The sequoia is a beast, just not a good off-road rig. Thing cruises like a dream on the highway and gets the same gas mileage as a 4Runner. So much room on the inside and the center consol makes the perfect changing table for our baby!

I think we’ll start looking. She only commutes 3 days a week and I’m sure it will pull the camper a lot easier than the taco

Carpet in a bath is the worst. I hate carpet period, give me the occasional rug and call it good

The Sequioa is a dream machine. I have a 2014 and love this car for towing. So smooth and strong anywhere in Colorado. This is the tow vehicle and wife’s daily driver (aka Land Yacht) and I finally just bought A Tacoma so here I am. Anyway, I plan to test out the Tacoma with towing my camper and will be curious to see if it’s good enough.C037E764-EF84-4E9F-AC64-8B36B21B3679.jpg

Don't expect much from the Tacoma. It will tow your camper but it will hate every second of it with high revs and terrible gas mileage.

Ya I’m at about 6000 lbs and the sequioa doesn’t break a sweat. Tight turning, 4 lo and locking diff. It’s been great. The gas mileage is not good but I make up for it in realiabilty so far. Tacoma could do it but I like the towing cushion and confidnece. Toyota did it right with the 5.7 liter.

I think they changed it a bit for 2018. Harder angles and more tech I think. Not sure if anything mechanical.

Best part is that it's real easy to rip up and do it right vs chipping up old tile!

I’ve got the same size camper. The taco hates it.
