If you are 200+ definitely don't get a 250. I know @Squeaky Penguin brother has a Honda 500 that he really likes. But again he is a lighter guy.

I gave up riding after my dad died in 2005. I miss it like you wouldn’t believe, but to me it ain’t the same without him riding in the lane next to me. So be defensive and wear all the gear my brother.

I would really like one of the new BMW 310 GS for commuting and light adventure purposes. Sat on one a couple weeks ago and really liked it.

Makes me think I should get a bike and use it for a DD. :notsure: Maybe after the truck is done. Never driven one tho.

    Is that stat real?

And is it up 50% per capita or just up 50%. Because our population seems to be up by 50% since the legalization of marijuana.

I think the increase in population is more to blame than the weed usage.

Agree with that! I ride rarely during the week-end and never during rush hour, dusk or dawn! Crap! That make a whole lot less riding! Getting out of town makes it so much more enjoyable. Move West. May have to take up your kind of riding only at an "old man" pace! Cagers are not a riders friend.

It's ok if it's strapped to the tail until you need it though. :D

I've seen the remnants of bike vs car with a speed difference of 110mph. They should show you those pictures when purchasing a liter bike for a first bike. :bikewheelie2:

I can honestly say I’ve never had to lay my bike down, and my pops never laid his down in 40 years of riding until that day. It sucks awarness doesn’t happen until you see an increase in numbers.

Since 2013 there has been about a 10% increase per year over the previous year.

I agree....but what increased the population?

The media. There are other states that have legal weed.

The housing market here is extremely lucrative, i doubt thats fueled by potheads.
