    Never enough
Not really. We fired it up and were standing around it drinking beers and Buzz Killington came around on a golf cart and made us shut er down. This was after another dude said it was cool as long as we werent jackasses with the flame height.

HAHA, security came by and said ‘you can’t have fire’. I said ‘it’s propane, just like that grill over there’.

He said ‘fine you can have it but you have to turn the flame down’. I said ‘ok what’s the flame height limit?’

He said just turn it down. So I did. Then he left. And I turned it back up. The next security guard that came stood by it and chatted for a couple minutes.

Pretty similar stories. I’ll take it considering the amount of libations we indulged in that night. It was cold as balls out there!!

    As suspected...

Call and talk to Rocky mountain ATV the other morning... Order is in stock and will arrive on Thursday if you pay for 2day. Order submitted 10 minutes later bright and early in the morning.

Get an email to call about the order yesterday, call and it's been held up by something in the wrong bin and won't arrive until Friday. Tell her i need it overnighted then to arrive on Thursday and I'll pay for it. She says that'll be done, shipped out tomorrow (now today) and arrive on Thursday.

Email confirmation of shipping today... Shipped via 2day shipping, won't arrive until Friday. And this is why i hate people.

B031DCE3-8607-4016-A71F-7630A985578C.jpg You guys are cracking me up. We have this little gas fire pit. I also bought a cover for it. My brother gave me so much shit for buying it, until we hung out with it. Lost of pros. Not a lot of cons. I’ve used it under my awning in the rain and also inside a screen enclosure hiding from giant mosquitos. I’ve even walked it down to along the shore of the Poudre and hung out (don’t tell anyone). Also at Walmart they sell this plastic base that you can set a tank in, also works for gas tanks, keeps the tank from moving around.

They aren't that great. Spent the last month in a shitty Hilux diesel in Greenland. I just don't get the hype. All that thing made me want was to get back home and get back behind the wheel of MY Tacoma!

Edit: Now that I think about it, our boss had to take the first POS back, and get a second one which wasn't much better. First one was essentially clutchless, second was just plain gutless.

most people don't have first hand experience so the diesel sounds especially alluring. Hiluxes of the same years as early tacomas also had solid front axles IIRC

I said the same thing before our trip to the maze. If @StainlessSteelRatt hadnt grabbed it id be none the wiser. I will say it promoted drinking instead of sleeping when the sun went down

Interesting. I was in Afghanistan for 2.5 years and leased a couple Hiluxs from the locals. Put a lot of miles on those trucks and beat the living shit out of them (they don't have great roads if you can imagine). We never took them out for service because the locals were super shady and it was questionable if we could actually get the trucks back. Put 10s of thousands of miles on them without any service done and they always ran like charm. I loved those trucks.

I dont think I would want anything like that on the swingout with a tire too. Too much weight on them makes my truck ride rough and im sure is a stress on the hinge when not closed

Plus I had a double Jerry can holder so, the weight is probably going down.... also truck rides pretty good weighted down, but I’m running Dakar’s with airbags

And yes my welds look like snot covered in licorice

On my 5 months of camping... I think i had three or four.

The bench building one you missed out on was surely the best.
