Nice! I ran over a piece of metal which pierced my tire. Other shops wouldn't dismount and patch/plug the tire because it exceeded their tire age liability. So, I thought of Plummer's and they were fine with looking at it. When they removed the tire, the metal was so long that it gouged the sidewall on the inside to the point the tire was no longer safe. He said he'd dispose of the tire if I wanted.

When I asked how much did I owe them (considering they took the time to dismount and dispose), he said he couldn't charge me anything after having to deliver the news that my tire was ruined. I tried to insist the time they took was worth something, and he refused to accept anything. Good people! They'll get my business again at some point.

If you're taking RTTs on and off, this is what I built. This is for WilderNests but similar idea.

    IMG_3361_thumb.jpg

And FWIW I'm trying to sell it. If you can use it beer is always a good offer. It's a little narrow for a 2nd gen but you could re-use the lumber maybe.

    https://fortcollins.craigslist.org/tls/d/wooden-gantry/6587361810.html

I drilled it to mount a cheap Harbor Freight 12V ATV winch, which I still have and could throw in for a few bucks, too.

Thats not a bad set up good idea too! I have limited space side to side. I will try and rig somthing with the ceiling. I was thinking one of these hoists. Was thinking what would be the best way to mount it i could do just a round pipe. Or i started thinking it would be nice to have it on a trolley or track system maybe for other project down the road.

Finished siding the shed, prepped the roof for roofing and installed hurricane clips. My aspens are happy about the sleet! Gonna try and add at least a few more this weekend.

And slung 12 tons of gravel to get it closer to adding some piping for the leach field.

I looked at those and others not really designed for vertical lift i know i could make it work but that i would have to rewire it to 110v.

    what's up guys

question here: if I need to tow a trailer, what do i need? I don't have the towing package. I have a hitch setup i'm installing this weekend, but what kind of harness/wiring do i need to buy?

    I procrastinate too much :bananadead:

    What hasn't been modified?
What dose the trailer need? The flat 4 or the 7 blade? Does the trailer need an electronic break controller?

trailer can take either a 4 or a 7, i think it does need an electronic brake controller... it has brakes on the trailer so i'd assume so

You need a truck built for towing.

    :rimshot:

What and how often are you planning to tow?
