I appreciate it. Looks like a great venture...I'll consider one for the future.

I just started my slow season at work...spent more time looking at truck and trip ideas than work-related crap. A co-worker--who appreciates and does what we like to do--said, "If you spent as much time working on your career as you did looking at truck stuff, you'd probably be C-Suite.". I just stared at him for a second, and went back to looking at front bumper options. He laughed, I laughed, my manager scowled, and fun times were had by all. I think it's time for a career change...

Base price went up to $5,750 plus shipping.

I didn't get any options. Thinking I can live without windows, and thought I could do better on lighting for the price.

Yep. Supposedly done next week. :goingcrazy:

With the weather warming up and we all start hitting more trails. Just remember anything can happen even on simple easy trails or dirt roads. Not sure if he needs help with his truck or not getting it back up and running. I belive he lives out of his truck with one of new drifter campers. i know there is a few up in this area thought i would share! Saw

I haven’t had to go to one yet lol. The truck only has 14k miles on it. But after doing all of my suspension work I’ll obviously need an alignment. I just moved out to Colorado so I’m not familiar with the trusted shops around.

    @T-Rex266

Or anyone with a newer tundra with the larger fuel tank. Have you ever tried to use most of the gas in the tank? I'm guessing Toyota just didn't reset the gauge for the larger tank since i have only put 30 gallons into my 38 gallon tank after the light has been on. And haven't had a full jerry can to ever test out and see how much capacity there is.

Wait, you asked about shops in Boulder area but your profile says Co Springs. Where exactly are you located?

There's SLEE offroad in Golden, I hear RSG Offroad does good work they're in Lakewood. I recall @Madjik_Man had someone in Boulder area he recommended but I can't find the name.

Edit: and where did you move from?...so everyone can heckle you if they didn't already :D

Lol I’m all over. I was stationed in CA for the past 5 years. I’m now stationed in the Springs, but I’m from Boulder so I came home to do my suspension at my parents house for the weekend. Heckle away.

Ah, well I'm pretty sure the two I mentioned require appointments so that probably won't work for ya. Hopefully someone else will post up something more local to where you are right now that you can just drop in for an alignment.

Yeah those places will usually get you by, and it's much better than driving from Boulder to Co Springs with no alignment after a suspension change. Sometimes you'll get someone who knows what the hell their doing with a lifted vehicle and will get you where you want it.

Maybe I've only had good luck but it's never been an issue for me, especially given how common lifted vehicles are around CO

Just make sure you specify or check their torque. They tend to skip that which can lead to damage down the road. BigO loosened my lca bolts and then decided against removing my stock skid to torque them properly.

When i confronted them they told me they only adjust tie rod ends for an alignment.

If you can wait, I would take the @CharlieCafe suggestions (but then, with these knuckleheads, I would believe them if I was told to go to McDonald's for an alignment).

Otherwise, I've had great luck with this BigO (a bit of a drive, but you'll be fine):

    690 E 120th Ave
    Northglenn, CO

No zip code because I don't think you're mailing your truck there.
