I have the firestone lifetime alignment. it is worth it especially if you find a location with a good technician. if you find a poor location just look up another nearby. it works at any firestone too.

I just got rear ended in the taco (giggity) on C470 right at the Moto track. Taco vs xterra. Crossing my fingers for enough damage to get myself a high clearance with swingout :fingerscrossed:

Everyone ok? I hope for the same thing everyday. The last set of tires I put on my 92 were paid for this way.

We definitely fared better than he did haha. Truck looks pretty good but my back can tell that we got hit.

Wife, daughter, and I are all ok but a little sore. The worst part is that we are literally on our way to vacation so I’m glad the truck is driveable and I can deal with the claim later. To quote the cop “that other guy is blasted on medications”. He got taken away by paramedics and will likely end up in jail for DUI.

That ish! Is why I no longer ride!

Glad you and yours are okay. I hope there is no long-term damage.

Your rear bumper did all that damage to the Nissan? Wow! No other damage to the Tacoma, other than the rear bumper?

As far as I can tell the damage is only cosmetic and is limited to the bumper and a bit on the tailgate. I took a quick look under the truck and the rear of the frame still looks straight with no perforations or cracks or anything. I’ll have to do a more thorough assessment once I am in a safe location that isn’t on the side of the highway.

Probably goes without saying, but, let a shop tell you if the frame is straight.

Glad it seems everyone is doing relatively well. Sorry to hear about this.

Good luck on that new bumper and swingout!

    Man, glad all are OK.

Not gonna lie, though...my pride swelled a little bit in seeing what the Taco did to the Nissan.

Glad everyone is ok @mountainmonkey but are you sure you didn’t hear a tear in your ankle on impact? Those rear-endings can be a doozy for the Achilles. Jk. Also glad you were not pulling your trailer, that would have been a mess.
