so Im leaning more towards bolting on my sliders does anyone know where I could find a U bracket that uses bolts on top for zero drill install? I talked to cbi and they want around $140 thats way too much (I got a weldon gusset kit but dont want to go that route) so any ideas?

If you're actually going to use the sliders as rock sliders, weld them on.

If you want nerf bars that are useless for 4-wheeling and only good for your dainty feet to step on... bolt them on.

Seriously, not trying to be a prick here. Don't bolt them on if you expect to use them on the trail.

Depending on the sliders. There's tons of guys who've used their bolt on sliders without issue. They're stronger than you think

Not that they won't take a beating, but after time I'm sure they'll loosen up. If it's something you want to be able to jack the vehicle up off of potentially, or put the entire weight of the vehicle on... just seems silly to have them bolted on.

For me, I'd rather not worry about it.

They can even save your vehicle from body damage. Just ask Dev haha.

Seriously, it takes more time to weld them but it's probably safer, an definitely sturdier

if you expect to have any hard landings on your slider supporting the whole weight of the vehicle and do not want to chance it damaging your frame, then weld it...also if you plan on using a hi lift on your slider to lift your truck up, i'd also suggest welding...

if you plan on mild wheeling that will be used here and there to slide along a rock and keep your rockers clean, bolt on is perfectly fine...some designs are better than others too, so keep doing your research and find reviews on different brands..some bolt ons are stonger than others...

also, if you plan on upgrading or selling the truck or sliders...then obviously bolt on...

and if you have to pay somebody to weld them on and you're 50/50 on your decision, get the bolt on...if you are unhappy with the strength..you can always weld the bolt on sliders up later

It's a gym. A place to train, not chat and take up space/machines etc by attempting to pick up a date.
