That's kind of what I was thinking too. Ah well. I could always register my truck at my parents without emissions (assuming that they probably won't put e test stations in rural CO still) or do the Vermont registration loophole

but the whole OBD1 engine in an OBD2 vehicle seems like it would be prone to more complications.

Did I mention I have an 83 CJ7 I could also put it in?

    No emissions ftw!

Nothing but a money grab anyways. The money spent vs the benefit is laughable at best.

Or North/South Dakota for registration. Montana if you have a business that can "open" a location there.

I'm a little pissed because I had to smog the taco last year and then this year they say I have to do it again. Got a notice in the mail and the DMV site says that they have no record of it :jerkoff:

Man, I'm glad the Cougar is smog exempt. I've got another 4 years on the truck before I have to take it in.

Happen to me last year. I call the DMV and they said "if you have the printout take it with you to the County where you do the registration and they will correct the error." Found out the County (Jefferson) had an old data base download and it was wrong. Can't even count on local gov to get their shit right. Took the proof with me and all they did was say OK and that was that.

Never take it in - us the road side on-ramp testing. Has to be at least three months prior to the renewal date. I use that process all of the time - last time I saw them trash two transmissions in two cars and they dented the door on mine - had it on video - cost them $1500 to fix it. Dumb shits.

I'd always hit the roadside one leaving work on the Park Ave northbound onramp to 25 when I worked downtown. Now that I work from home full time, I'll have to hunt some down on the north side when it comes time. When I had to bring the Miata in to the one in Broomfield, it made it though fast pass so at least that was an easy one to deal with.

My Daily is an incognito OldManTan 2003 Highlander. They have some issues though I feel less than the RAV4 you were asking about. I like it for a driver.

I don't know how people go on "vacation" to RV parks! Packed in like a bunch of sardines. Not my idea of camping but whatever floats their boat. Now I know what business to go into. Open up a sweet RV park with a little burger shack and coffee shack and I will make bank!

Sure doesn't feel like it. Been moving around every night or every other night. Only thing that felt like vacation so far was Mesa Verde. Traveling with a one year old makes it harder for us to drive places and look for a remote spot. Doesn't make it any easier on 4th of July weekend. Once we get up to kalispell we are hoping things will slow down and we will be able to enjoy outselves. We were supposed to be in Vegas this weekend to see Travis pastrana recreate the evel kenevel jumps but it's supposed to be 112 degrees so we scratched that and headed north hitting up national parks on the way. Can't wait to find a remote camp spot during the week and just relax.

Trying out your beloved Les Schwab since they just opened a new one right by the house.
Looks like all they carry are Toyos and their house brand?
Anyway, I figure any problems or dissatisfactions are on you.

I know this was asked before in this thread but I can’t seem to find it.

Where can I get a 5lb propane tank filled on the west side of Denver?
