Up in the air on if I want to pay the big bucks on the Honda which everybody says is the best. Found a used one on Craigslist but they are asking just a little too much. Or get a champion or Briggs and Stratton for half the price. Not really a fan of the Yamaha generator I have currently. Main issue is with a lack of fuel filter the jet gets clogged. I added a fuel filter so that should solve that issue but it just doesn't have enough power.

Posted in ham thread but figured it might get more use here as well.

 

What is everyone using for a propane fired camp grill? Looking to fill the "fire ban" grilling hole.

 

I have a small backpacking type that i usually use. The one that has 3-4 arms and connects to the top of a fuel canister.

And i have the Partner Stove, but I'd suggest stocking up on steaks with the money you'll save with buying a Coleman.

I found a coleman stove/grill combo grill for like 30 bucks at a garage sale I found off Facebook

 

This one is what I use every weekend. Nice to have a separate burner for a pot and a grilling surface at the same time.

 

Time to choke down some MRE’s. Kill!

 

I used to do that in my younger days. Don't think i could handle to 2k+ calorie bomb anymore. Grill shopping is more to keep the wife and kids happy. I'm ok with cold meals/minimalist foods when I'm alone.

Having the grill area is a very nice feature...one less pan that you have t remember to bring along and find a place to store.

 

I guess working from home on occasion has its perks. Refining my dry rub carne asada recipe. She tastes-a-niice

 

When are you starting said trailer? Need something to start with? I’ll most likely have a short bed frame and axle you can have. I’m keeping the diff tho.

 

Do you still use the little fuel bottles? I'd like to have a grill like that but I want it to run off a 20 lb propane bottle.

 

You can use the little bottles, or you can get a hose that goes from your cylinder to the stove.
