    I'm telling you - it was a celebration of life ceremony.

    Out of round tires? I don't recall there being any BFGs on the trail that day.

    It's even got Icons!

    If I spent 64k on an 'overland' rig, I could justify the fact that it never gets wheeled as the crippling debt would force me to work all the time. :rofl:

    Ever have one of those weeks where you just want to sell everything, move to Tibet and live in a cave? I am almost there...

    Anyone planning anything this weekend?

    @CharlieCafe want to do that run @Littles posted about a few weeks ago above Boulder?

    Somewhat depends on the area. In the immediate vicinity of Ouray, camping is pretty limited. There is no legal dispersed camping on the east side of Imogene, just two primitive forest campgrounds and the more developed Amphitheater campground outside of Ouray (and a few sites off a road just south of that). There is some dispersed camping areas on the west side of Imogene, but it's going to be up high with little or no tree cover and on old mining areas. Down on the east side of Cinnamon and Engineer there are some spots (I have a sort of favorite on Cinnamon actually), but on the west side there isn't much down toward Silverton except again a primitive campground. I haven't been on the Mineral Creek side for a long while. Basically the big issue is there's a lot of private land and mining claims in the area, and activity and trespass has been enforced more in recent years than in the past. There are still places for sure, including a number of 14er trailheads, but I definitely wouldn't describe it as 'anywhere'.

    Also, that's a somewhat generic map. You might also find mine useful though it doesn't cover the far east and west sides:

    You mean the one by Rollinsville? I’m up for it. If we want to go by the mine shaft we either need a chainsaw or will have to take a different route out just in case there’s still a tree there.

    Sunday would be the day for me too.

    @Littles @CharlieCafe
    This sounds like the one I recall you doing, that got me interested in checking it out.

    I can do either so Sunday works, @Coop68 you want to give your chainsaw/ new pup a work out?

    Anyone else interested?

    I think that tree would put @Coop68's chainsaw to the test!
