Well, I hope someone here has an idea. Picked up RCI front and transmission skids from another member here. The transmission skid is golden. The front...not so much. For one thing, the front mount holes will not allow for the stock M12 bolts to go through, as the instructions indicate should happen

To make matters worse, the distance between holes is about 14 inches on the skid but some 17 inches on the radiator crossmember.

A final nail in the coffin: the front diff (which does have a drop kit) and the two braces on either side of it prevent the skid from reaching the crossmember.

I contacted RCI but I haven't had a lot of time away from work lately; I have today off and am trying to install this crap. Any ideas?

    Radiator crossmember.

    From San Miguel County Sheriff:

*Update: The driver of the Nissan SUV is in Sheriff's custody for DUI.

Deputies, Search and Rescue volunteers and Telluride EMS responded, treated and transported four occupants of a two vehicle accident on Black Bear Pass this afternoon. Thank you to Highland Helicopter out of Durango who piloted two separate trips to the landing zone on scene to fly out two patients to the Telluride airport for awaiting EMS crews. Also thanks to San Juan County's Silverton EMS for their response and assistance. The four patients were transported to Telluride Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment; none are believed to have life-threatening injuries. #blackbearpassmva

It's looking that way. Just measured the distance between the smaller holes on the OEM brackets and they do measure 14 inches in length. Experimented briefly by putting them in and it seemed to work out. Diff still touches which will be an issue but I'll let RCI fill me in on that.

If you'll excuse me, I'm going to continue to step on my own dick.

Thanks. @RockyMtnTRD and @303tacoma led me that way as well. It's working out so far.

@Stig is right...we should enjoy it while we can. I'm otherwise occupied this weekend unfortunately.

Who knows what size (diameter, pitch, and length) the bolt is that holds the spark plug coils to the engine block on a 2013 V6 taco? @thefatkid @CO Ryan

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
I was pretty happy to see it still there! Just over a year, it was built 7/02/17

Still would like to have a bench making get together, just been slacking on planning that.

Ouch. Trying to figure out what let go. Usually would suspect u-bolts first, but looks like they're still attached. Guessing front hanger bolt?

Anyways, retorque your hardware after lift installs. I always do a quick check on key suspension hardware before any trip these days too.

    Accurate.

Kicking around ideas for a vehicle for me since we sold everything and only have the Sequoia. My two ideas so far are keep the Sequoia and get a gx470 that I can turn into a EAF overland vehicle or sell the Sequoia and get a land cruiser 200 series turn that into a EAF overlander and then get a cheap Honda Fit or equivalent for me to daily. Thoughts?

Any areas of the state you or @Reh5108 need to explore?

Or just head down to telluride this week since it looks like that's going to happen. I'm planning out like 4 days in advance... This is huge.
