Could you have left your screwdriver on the back of someone's trailer? The alignment guy left his on the back of my trailer and it survived a 200 mile trip down the road.

I feel ya though, I am getting closer to caving on a gasser too since there are lots of them in nice shape compared to diesel

No clue where! Going to wife's family reunion in illinois next week then will be headed back and stopping in Granby to pickup our mail then hitting up Laramie, Cody and big sky before heading back to Kalispell. We have been on the road over a month now. Traveled over 5k miles so far.

Only requirements for the new house is land, big kitchen and a big garage. Told our ex realtor we wanted that stuff and he showed us 5 bedroom houses. It's just the three of us. What are we going to do with 5 bedrooms!?

I will never be able to justify the price of a clean well kept diesel truck. Like you said gassers are everywhere and WAY cheaper.

Because America... Buy a huge waste of a house that you can only barely afford on the best of times for the initial few years of an ARM loan... And fill it with a ton of depreciating clutter.

That's just peanuts.. Enjoy the time on the road while you can. The Monday -Friday jobs, houses and regular bullshit will always be there, don't rush back to it.

And you'll get a much better deal after a market correction. :p

We found a nice 2 bed 2 bath house that was built in the 70's and they haven't changed a thing since then. Well kept but it needs new carpet, paint, kitchen and baths. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to put carpet in bathrooms is a moron. They want about $40k more than what we think it's worth.

That would be absolutely amazing if the market corrects itself over the summer. We are actually thinking about just renting for a year just in case.

Park your camper somewhere nice... Follow the weather. It's practically free to live if you find some blm or fs land.

Head to Arizona when it gets cold everywhere else. Rent is the gas you spend driving to hiking spots. You sold everything, so make use of that leap you did. :p

I did 5 months and regret not continuing like i wanted to and could've for probably another year if i would've hung out in the sw area of the country instead of forking over tons of cash for gas. Instead i did the stupid thing and came back to help with work, build a place. But as soon as I'm finished, you know where I'll be!

RV parks is the one thing killing us right now. Since we are traveling so many miles and we have the 1 year old we can't spend our time looking for spots. Traveling with a infant really changes things.

Freecampsites.net is a great resource for locating possible areas for camping. It was one of the main things i used.

Another thing I've probably mentioned before...aquatic/swim centers are great for showers... Usually a few bucks which is one of those "perks" koa and similar places offer.
