Freecampsites.net was amazing when I didn't have this big thing behind the vehicle.

They are on there but it's hard exploring with vehicle and trailer that is almost 50' long add in a 1 year old and it becomes near impossible.

I have a spot for you in the backseat right next to my daughter. She is good for 3-4hrs of traveling before she starts screaming her lungs out. :angrygirl:

It didn't want to quote the carpeted bathroom stuff but...

Thankfully demo was done well before our arrival... But we're at a house where the 8 dogs were apparently taught to go to the bathroom INSIDE the house. One of the guys who did the demo said when you knelt on the carpet, your pants were wet with urine.

We raised the floors, poured footers and put new microlams in followed by new subfloor a month and a half ago..the new subfloor looks like its 30+ years old already due to stains. We thought about installing floor drains in the living areas...sick people.

When I first moved up here the apartment I got was almost brand new construction and had carpet in the bathroom. First time I'd seen that, was kind of surprised. I discovered a few months ago when searching for a new place that they have since changed to a hard surface in everything *but* the bedroom (and changed management as well). Another place I moved into about the middle of my time up here was a brand new house, built a couple months before I moved in around 2006, and it also had carpet in the master bedroom's attached bath (but only that one). Just did not understand why they would do that, still, and in a house that expensive.

Also, $40k doesn't sound that bad. Everything I look at around here is closer to $100k more than I think it's worth. Disregarding the market and recent sales, since quite frankly the market is stupid.

I noticed it was extra hazy today. Is that mostly from Silver Creek or do you think it's just from all of them (including CA)? Or is there a new one I haven't heard about yet?
