Got a call this morning from HD. They said they are sorry for their multiple mistakes, they will expedite the correct materials and want the incorrect stuff back even if it's been installed.

Homeowner wants it installed since they live up where they could likely get snow before HD gets the correct materials (roofing). HD wants homeowner on fixed income or us to pay for their mistake. :rofl:homeowner was pretty bummed and called them as well, but I'm guessing they stuck to "we need our money back for the wrong materials" ($350).

Corporate America.. The downfall of this country.

It's a small job that we only picked up to help out some elderly people who needed it done correctly on the super cheap...so it'll get done, just a reminder to support local instead of a company that doesn't give a fuck about you.

Well this is interesting, we are top 10.

    10. Denver, Colorado

The Mile High City takes the last spot in the top 10. A two-bedroom apartment in this city is reasonably affordable compared to local incomes. Our data shows the average two-bedroom rental in Denver costs $1,720 per month, or $20,600 per year.

To afford that while avoiding being housing-cost burdened, we estimate you need to earn $73,700 per year. That figure is only $12,600 more than the local median household income.

Yeah trailsoffroad.com is a great resource. Some of the stuff around Idaho Springs is fun and beginner friendly. If you make it up to Summit County and want to knock around for a few hours PM me; I'll be up there all weekend and will probably truck camp with my kiddo one night.

Sweet Jesus... thanks for helping convince me to just shoot for a house instead of renting ha.

When I first got my own place in 2005 I had a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a garage in Lone Tree for around $900. Just that floor plan alone is now over $1700.

    This and that...

Wait and see what a Denver house is now going for... 900 sq ft for $300,000 in Lakewood. Renter and buyer markets are crazy here. Happy hunting though.
