Might head to Hops n Pie. Must be pretty good if you head there once a week.

    Thanks for the recommendation!

And to think we thought about going to alaska(still are). Should have would have been less miles. At 8000 miles traveled so far!

Yeah, it's a cool trip.. But i think spending that same mileage within the US would be a lot more interesting.

I'll still drive up to Banff and jasper, but the next 18 trillion miles to Alaska, eh..

The trip to Wisconsin was worth it for this beer(hopefully I didn't drive that far if it is sold here). Campsite for the night in Cheyenne, WY

Saw on the Tacoma World Colorado FB page a kid trying to get a noob group through Engineer and Black Bear.

Hope we don't hear about another accident because of inexperienced drivers

Having grown up in Fairbanks, and driven to CO for school, I’d do that drive round trip again with my girl friend.

Any recommended mechanic/paint and body shops in Denver... my insurance was not much help and I want the truck to run right. I need to make sure the frame wasn’t damaged as it was parked when hit and moved 3 ft over the curb from the impact.

    Thanks

Yeah, not saying it's bad.. IMO it's highly overrated as far as the "dangerous road" aspect but that seems to make it desirable to do for some. Unless you are talking snow on the ground and winter storms.

It's a nice drive through very scenic areas...it's just a REALLY long ass drive. If the route was closer to the coast, i think it'd be a ton more fun to be able to hit all the places on your way, but adding in 4+ hour out and back drives to get to the coast on top of the already lengthy straight shot...i was just ready to get to squamish and not drive far for a while.
