so i need to bug yall once again. i just changed my alt and battery around 3 weeks ago and since then the truck has sat for 2 weeks with an occasional start up an move. my battery light is on but my battery is good(13.02v) and my alt charging 14.5v. ive cleaned the terminals on the battery and all connections on the + post. there is a neg connection next to the battery to the fender from the neg cable on battery. idk where the chassis ground is located so i have not yet cleaned that. any ideas what to do next?

For 2nd gens I think it works/looks best on white and silver trucks. Any other colors I like the color matched fenders.

:rofl:She said "It would look better white like it was" so I think I'm on the right track.

Also got a pretty good reaction to drilling through the bedsides but she's been a little desensitized since I already cut them.

Is that the listing that said it included all of the pallets? :anonymous:

Not sure why I'm asking, i know it is. :p looked at it this morning (The listing, not the camper). You pick it up?

Yes, yes, and left the pallets behind.

Drove home just fine, Icon's rode and handled fantastic.
Ill get pics in the daylight.

Congrats, If you think of any materials you might need, let me know.

Like I had some of those fiberglass shower wall panels that were leftover and are likely in the trash by now, but might work for random stuff if you need it.

I'll be snagging one after i confirm what size truck I'll get, although it's likely I'll end up with an extended cab, 6ft bed since 8ft bed pushes me into 2500 w/6.0 or 6.2l which i don't want.

Its in pretty good shape as it is. Main thing i want to upgrade is the charging system.
Ill test the solar tomorrow to see how well it does.
Fridge may need a new heating element as well. Water system builds pressure with a quiet pump and has on demand hot water, which i thought was pretty cool for an older model.
Canvas was mold free, which has been hard to find.

Sweet, i thought it looked in good shape.

Main thing i want to find is a 4 season one, does that one have a heater? The diesel fuel heaters that Sprinters use are hella efficient, not perfect since you'd need to have a second tank vs just tapping your stock tank, but well worth it for the heat they'll produce.

Has a furnace, but no tank heater.
When I go winter camping, and i will, ill just bring the 7 gallon jug and keep it in the cab in front of the passenger seat. Itll be a learning curve, which is why i opted to go used and make sure it works for me before dropping the big bucks on a new one.

Is the first gen tundras the way of the future? Can't bring myself to spend the amount of money 1st gen tacomas want. Plus I think the bigger size would be perfect for the kiddo.

My goal is to get one of those diesel heaters for the taco. I did some research and with how often you would need to fill the second tank it shouldn’t be that big of an issue for a weekend warrior.

Just wish they weren’t so expensive....
if you spend a bit more you can get one that runs off propane.
