2am on Sunday i realize i don't have running lights on my new dump trailer, test it on the Chevy when i got home, same deal.

Driving back from work in the GMC now and the damn new enclosed trailer doesn't either. WTF! Is there a trailer virus going around?

Brake and turn signals work on both trailers and three vehicles, just none of the running lights.

I have a bunch of Marine Corps buddies that want to come up and camp for a few days in the end of October, I'll be going out with them. Probably about 10 people between us and some of their wives.

Anyone have an idea of some better places for camping for larger groups? They want to do some hiking/backpacking and maybe some fishing.

I myself would prefer to be a bit further away from other people. Probably as everyone does.

I liked the area out by MSV/Coney Flats, looked like a lot of nice camped but crowded.

Has anyone done a roller paint job on a vehicle before?

I've never heard of it but it popped up as an inexpensive way to get a pretty nice looking paint job. The bug will get one and i was not looking forward to dealing with a spray gun and masking everything off in the garage...

I searched the Youtubes for it and this bug came up in the first few results.

You can skip forward to see how well it looks for an inexpensive job.

I'm thinking something like this would be fun and easiesh. Little topo map action.

You're gonna end up with some really defined arms after all that sanding :luvya:

That said, you can get a really nice finish out of the Rust-Oleum/Tractor enamel paints

I've seen it done on a few different vehicles. Looked great from 10 feet. Go for it.

Do i look Amish? Electric sanders will be used. :D

The finish on it now isn't great...and i don't plan on spending the time or money to get it smooth as glass, so 10ft is all i need. Of course, with a not very smooth finish, my paint transition lines won't look overly sharp so i likely will just go with a single color or one broken at the trim line.

It doesn't show up in pics but current paint has a pearl that makes it look like it has a little bass boat to it, which is why it needs to change asap.

I have done a roller paint job on a Tacoma before. I had a bunch of orange peel, which i didn't mind. If you take your time it can turn out pretty good.

    I also used tractor paint.

Sorry to hear that, yeah he's my cousins.

Nice, I'm not going to be picky... Probably going with cement colored paint.
