Yeah, the free trial ended and they offered it at some crazy price ($300/yr or so) and i told them to eat shit. Then they said they had a $30/6mo plan. Eh yep. I put just shy of 6 months in my calendar to call and cancel. And repeat.

Rust isn't too bad. Adding a small fuse block for radio and future fog lights.

Good call, we got xm radio at the start of our road trip. 5 months for $25. Just added cancelation date to the calendar so I don't forget. $16 a month after that. Not worth it at all. It was a worth having over the summer though.

Be sure and install a rubber or plastic cover over the battery. The seat springs are notorious for contacting the battery and starting fires.....

In other news, the gasket material might just work for sealing up the front.
It is really tight right in the center, front has a bow shape to it. But the edges have a bigger gap and it filled it well. Has full contact all across the front. It doesn't quite close all the way as before but hoping the gasket will compress more over time.

also sealed over the elastic grommet connections that help pull in the sides when closing.

front seam. The black marks are from dirty fingers, I'll clean it later maybe.

Back seat isn't going back in. I'll build a little storage platform.

I like my ultragauge. Only thing I would do differently is get the one capable of reading trans temp. I got mine as a gift though so beggars can’t be choosers.

Looks like I can do trans temp in the taco with the top of the line ultragauge.

So will probably get that for the taco and put the scan gauge I have in the 4runner, as that can do the 4runner trans temp, vs what I can find on the ultragauge

I have the newer version with the trans temp in the Tundra, but haven't been smart enough to get it to work.

    Hey everybody!

Longtime TW member, formerly of the infamous AZ TW Crew. Moved to Hawaii a couple years again and just found out I’m on orders to Fort Carson in a year.

Figured I’d make my entrance around these parts and get to know a few of y’all.

Well, coming from Hawaii, the housing prices shouldn't scare you too much! I'm in the Springs, about 10min from post.

Snow chains... The Toyota manual for my 2018 states do not put snow chains on the front tires. Is this normal? I’ve always carried two sets of snow chains, for front and rear, but never had to use them...

With the lift, sliders, ov tune and new wheels sitting at home waiting for me, I’ve been completely over thinking tires. 255/80r17, 285/70, E load, C load, At, MT, Hybrid, making notes of tire weights, etc. basically looking for the perfect tire that doesn’t exist.

It does kill time on these 12hr shifts though!
