Got quoted $800+ for a lift install at HC 4X4... :bananadead:

Be grateful for any help on it instead. Not in any rush, but would better on the truck than on my floor. Thanks!

I do really enjoy the breadth of my job. Ski town for a huge water line installation, to a industrial janitorial equipment manufacturer, to a multifamily radon mitigation system installation, and finally to a hemp oil extraction facility over a landfill.........

Damn, yeah I’m sure they do good work but I’ve seen what’s involved. Plus he had $150 for some special alignment... Mine is just blisteins and 885 with Dakars, the kit from Headstrong.

It will need an alignment after you add a lift

Yep, totally. But have a local spot for under a $100.

Is that with zero point calibration? Make sure you have your caster set to 3.0 or better and camber, toe factory. Not all alignment shops understand this because caster will be in the red.

Yeah will be requesting this when taken care of, thanks. At HC4x4 it was a “modified IFS” alignment.

I’d check seyfer, they are closer to sunny side and do whatever alignment you want. They usually do more sports / race alignments, but that’s better than jiffy lube

Did your bilsteins and 885s come together or do you have to assemble?

...If they are assembled it would be pretty straightforward for a couple dudes to do the install in a few hours :)
