I've had plenty of people open with "what's the lowest you'll go" and they get mad when I name a price they don't like or I tell them I'm only willing to negotiate in person

The rebuild kit for the trans is only $80 I just havent had enough shits to give to want to cave and do it.

I will probably rebuild the trans and switch to 33s and get it out of the way much quicker

Purchased it from a guy who went 4wheeling with only 2 quarts of oil in this engine (his oil change sticker said he was due 6k miles ago). Said he was backing up a hill and heard a banging noise. Well, it is making a little noise.

Fun fact I filled it full of 80-90 wt oil and drove it home. The VVTi set all sorts of codes but the engine only made half the noise and I still start and run it on occasion.

can you see the price stuff sold for on copart? I was watching a truck and all it would tell me was that it was sold, no price listed. I was kinda interested what things go for to see if its worth dealing with.

    LOL

    """"oil changes are a rip-off""""

I had an ex whose Forester made it to 150k with 15-25k mi oil change intervals and no timing belt change. Somehow I feel like they would get along
