It just gives me time to find a new top plate stud to replace the one I had to cut off yesterday after over
-torquing it and stripping the threads. Apparently the torque specs for my boss 2.5s aren't the same as the factory shocks. It's always something...

A small handful of select mods.
But you still need to be licensed on 2m/70cm. So that part is where people gain the education and hopefully some of that translates into better setup of their mobile system vs what some people do with CB.

Yeah, I was really hoping to see some discount on TM-D710. Research gives it an APRS edge over the Yaesu.

damn, maybe I should buy a better compressor lol

I was hoping that having a small air tank pressurized and ready to go would save me some time

I met a girl in Moab who had OBA and hardlines at all 4 wheels, she just had to turn on the compressor, hook up the 4 tires, and let it run. it would cutoff when it reached 40psi

Tank will help until you use up the pressure, than it's the same as just running off the compressor. Tank will allow you to run some air tools if that's your thing and you like repairing Heep's :D

@Gramps has an octopus thingy that only has 4 legs for filling tires all at once. So quadropus?

right, but the head start from the pressure could save a decent bit of time. Too lazy to do the math on how much time it would save but it takes my compressor like 3-5 min per tire to go from 8->30 psi

at least jeeps don't go through lower ball joints and CVs like tacomas do :p

Well, I altered my Steering knuckle/ Spindle depending on what name you want to use, still seems like it should be beefier but I am fixing that :welder:

Like Steve said, it will save you time on the first tire. Then it’s more volume to fill. It would also start building pressure as you switch tires. But not a lot. And personally I wouldent wanna pay more that $20 for an air tank.

The quad tire thing cound be handy and I almost built one, but it’s a lot of extra hose to keep around

I use one of my sliders as an air tank. It makes the 1st tire go twice as quick, and has enough to break a CV axle nut with my impact.

A little annoying, however, when I just want to use a locker and have to wait a minute for it to fill.

I didn't really see much useful information while studying for the test unless i wanted to build a radio from scratch. Maybe since it was before i ever started using the radio. :notsure:

I give up... this is for a 2006 Honda Pilot with 200k miles. I asked when was the last time the timing belt was changed. She said probably never and says it’s been worked on at a Honda dealership the whole time except for this checkup that won’t be at the dealership?
