Don't make me drive over there! Nvm traffic sucks balls...

Just introduced my gf's pupper to mine at my house. I put hers in the kennel, let them watch each other. They barked and growled a bit, then I switched them up and let the other wonder around. As they saw my gf and I were ok with each others dog they mellowed out. Now they're super playful and follow each other around. @Gramps had also suggested walking them together as well but they got along by the kennel trick.

what a cute pair of pups :D

A little growling, snips, and snarls are ok as they're setting boundaries. If they were gonna go at it they would skip all that stuff

after a long introduction they were playing last night and this morning. I left them both separated while I'm at work today, though. He's a sweet pup but doesn't have great leash manners since his owner has been unable to be active for a while. He's about 9 so I don't know if that's something that is still trainable.

The poor guy is obviously a little confused and distressed. The owner and his adult daughter both started crying when I picked him up too :(

They tried to go at it I think twice, maybe 3 times but the kennel prevented it. What really got them to get along was we gave each a bath, and like all dogs they were super hyper right after so we let them run outside together.

Ours are around the same age so a larger gap might be more difficult. Older pups sometimes aren't a fan or puppies. Especially since he's away from his owners as well.
