Why do you think I've been so quiet since Rock Therapy? The ban hammer hurts. Who's getting banned and why?

    Door check arm.
Reasonably inexpensive and easy to replace.

    Thanks @Deathbysnusnu

I’m thinking of breaking the plastic off since it’s already broken and seeing how it works then. I figure it delays needing a replacement

Maybe it just bent the metal, and the cracked plastic is prolly making the noise.

It was mouthing off to a mod after drunk posting an inappropriate political meme in the unfunny pictures thread that got me the ban. To your point, just don't drink and post and don't be a dick and you'll be fine.

The truck is officially all back together. Got the alignment dialed in today after @TMFF serviced the uppers and coilovers and I got the TC spindle gussets done by @glorifiedwelder. I'm very happy with the work that both of them did and the service they provided. I highly recommend both of them if you need shocks rebuilt or spindle gussets welded up.

I am so glad to be driving the truck again after 4 weeks sitting on jack stands.

Can anyone recommend a place that has experience installing shock relocation towers from bamf?

@YamaDirtrider - I figured out why the battery’s negative terminal was disconnected last Sunday. The battery hold down bracket got bent after the hard landings at Pismo in September. So the bracket was not holding the battery down as well as it should. The battery slid towards the engine enough to break the ground strap and loosen the negative cable. I bent the bracket back into shape, cleaned off the rust, spray painted, and fixed the ground strap. Good as new.

They are very glad to see each other, as am I. It breaks my heart because he's such a sweet pup and I can't imagine having to give up a a good dog friend so involuntarily :boom:

I'd like a decent floor jack that can actually lift high enough without using wood (2x4 or 4x4 blocks).

I picked up a Daytona from Harbor Freight [ ] for about $200 but it weighs about 100 lbs.

I'd love a Pro Eagle jack, but I have better things to spend $500 on (retrofits, sliders, bumper(s), skids, wedge camper, supercharger, and so on).

Any other ideas for a decent jack under $250 that doesn't weigh a ton and has long reach?

My mom had to go to assisted living two yrs ago it was quite an adjustment she didn’t have to give up a dog friend, but had to leave her home, and give up a lot of her independence. Its such a hard situation. She has adjusted well.
I hope that everything for all involved works out for the best, and I’m sure you give the person involved a whole lot of relief that their best friend is well taken care of, and is safe and loved.:fistbump:

Ok enough of the sad shit

Anyone one know the condition of the trail to get to the shooting area on Yankee?
Planning to go do some pewpew on Monday. Trying to assess if it's an icesheet, if so I'll just make plans to go to a range.

So I ordered a new turn signal switch assembly from car-parts. Hopefully this cures my annoying (and kind of dangerous) left blinker situation. I'm hoping it's not a short somewhere.
