Anyone have any recommendations for first aid classes that would be applicable to remote exploration type scenarios?

NOLS Wilderness First Aid if you’re looking for a 3-day course, Wilderness First Responder if you’re ok with 9ish days and a bit more money. Took WFA at REI a few years back, very worth the money/time.

Yeah, I agree. NOLS WFA is a good start, WFR is an excellent level of knowledge for backcountry stuff.

Cool, thanks guys. That's exaclty what I was looking for.

I'd be interested in this too. Were you going to combine it with a trail day or something?

Any help would be welcome. All my experience is from the military. Civilian side might be different but be good to have a wide variety of info.
