What I am learning. Just took the doggo outside and it's raining so we'll see if it turns to snow

But it's the wind! I like how they dial it down..."now, just because you may not see much snow, does not mean it's not a blizzard."

Cyclone bomb isn't catchy enough? We're sitting around the meeting room today and only 4 of us showed up. Generally there will be 11 or so at our Wednesday meeting.

Be nice to get the taco in some snow though. Been slow this year and the new tires need their cherry popped.

I was planning to work from home today because "bomb cyclone" sounds like the perfect excuse not to go into the office... but someone just had to schedule a meeting today last minute

Looked at the NWS maps last night. I've never seen this pattern before. (Prolly just never thought to look.) Several low pressure areas stretching up from Mexico, to the last one in south, central Colorado. Then two high pressure areas to the north / northwest of Colorado. So the lows are going to be pulling lots of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and sucking it in from the northeast. The highs will be pulling cold air from the northwest. They will meet and get flung against the mountains. But the mountains are already getting dumped on. Normally the Front Range squeegees the moisture out and we lowlanders get dumped on, and the mountains are clear. Not today.

But there is nothing to the east to stop the low pressure systems... If only one could stall over the Oklahoma panhandle... then we might have some good fun. Storm is moving too fast for this to be a "snowmageddon", IMO.

Still, high winds and snow when you have to get somewhere is no joke. Drive carefully!

We've only had about 3" since it started snowing last night. We've had more in a night when there wasn't weather advisories or a "bomb cyclone"

I'm in DTC at our new added work location setting up our network stuff which is being built out. All the GC's sent their dudes home already. Me and some audio/visual dudes are still here.

2 guys doing our security doors just left. 1 wanted to stay, the other was freaking out pointing outside "look!" I said "he's not from here is he..." and the other said "nah.. Texas" haha

Ah, those pesky front two bolts. Youre talking about the one from the front of the additional bracket?

Seems like those two are missing on mine. :anonymous:

You are in a better place to check but I think there is some black tape on the frame there that makes it seem like there is no place for the bolt to pass through. I thought of that after the fact on mine. Based on how much of a PITA the back bolt on that front bracket was, there was no way I was trying to shove my arm that much further up the frame. I have wondered ever since if you could access the nut via a sticker that I didnt notice at the time of my install

Ya the far front one is covered by a sticker and the closer one is a plastic plug. I have one hand in a cast so there's no way I'm getting back there. RCI mentioned having Toytec do it I'm just weary of what they would charge.
