    Looking contractor recommendations for:

-kitchen “remodel” (basically new cabinets with the same layout, and laminate flooring)
-Concrete work (fixing some of the driveway)
    -Fencing (basic privacy wood fence)

Had you been with any other insurance company you would have experienced and been told the same thing. I had Allstate for auto and eventually renter's from the time I started driving. In 2014 my bill jumped 20% for no reason to just over 500, and when I called and asked it was a general rate increase for everyone due to hail and other claims costs. I went to Geico for slightly more coverage at half the cost. Then last year the same thing happens with them (switched for auto, stayed for renters because nobody else was coming close) - I went from 246 to 343 and I've yet to even file a claim with them. I shopped around but found that they were still the cheapest for me, though Allstate was only 50 or so more instead of the 150 I'd last been quoted.

Shit is just more expensive to repair, and more claims are filed. Look at car prices and how much they've gone up. A lot of homeowner insurance now has a completely separate deductible for the roof because of all the hail claims. There's no such thing as customer loyalty. When something makes you notice, or even better just every few years, shop around and see what you could get elsewhere for insurance rates, or have a broker do it for you, as is often mentioned whenever this subject comes up on here. I'll say that I liked Allstate for everything but the price increase, and I had to deal with them a few times for things that weren't my fault. State Farm has always turned me off with excessive marketing mailings and then refusal to talk with me or give me a quote when I contact them.

And that’s why I use an insurance broker, I let them do the legwork and get me the best rates

Whiteline is what I put in the GX when I rebuilt the rack last fall. FYI you will need to remove the whole rack to replace the stock bushings. Take luck....

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BED6CA4/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

3 out of 4 bushings fit perfect, the 4th needed to be shaved down to fit. I think it was a packaging error.

AND.... WTF do you need a Dorkel for? Better the the Israeli one, all others look like hammered dog shit.
