Based on my experience, I think DT will price match any tire they carry that is listed on Amazon. I had the exact tire on Amazon on my smart phone. I'm slightly bummed as the day before, the tires were $92ish @ Amazon, but they day I locked in my price, they had risen to $105ish. The next day they were $122ish. So... if you see an unbelievable price on Amazon, do not expect it to last, and if you are not going to buy from Amazon, beat feet toot suite over to DT to get them to price match. HTH.

I lost count at the amount of holes in both of them. I don’t even know if treatment will help at this point. Last year, we were told we had a fungus issue and the trees were thinning out, especially upper middle section. Given what I’m seeing now, I’d say it was EAB all along. Should make the guy we had look at them pay for new trees.

Maybe it’s worth a shot, I should probably have someone else come take a look and give a final diagnosis if they can be saved.

That sucks. I’ve been treating my one and only (40 yr old tree) for 4 years now.

It’s the only large tree that provides shade on my house. I’m hoping it’s still good.

    Ever use one?
    First thoughts are
    1. It costs more than my winch.
    2. Wonder what the chances are of worsening the situation by ripping out your studs.

Anybody planning on doing Spartan races this year?

I wanted to do the Spartan Sprint on Ft Carson. But I don’t have an ID anymore. Wasn’t sure if they open up the base for civilians or vets or it’s just a military only affair?

I know in years past civilians could do it. You had to go through a certain gate and I believe signup prior to the event.

I did one at the base in CO Springs about two years ago. I am a civilian.

P.S. I would NEVER go do one of those stupid things again. I felt like I was one of the cowboys in Blazing Saddles and needed a bag of dimes to go through the toll booth. Nothing stupider than climbing over a 12' thats only 15' wide wall when you are in the middle of a huge field.

Well I’ve done like 12 Spartans, 3 Tough Mudders, with a couple Battle frogs tossed in for S&Gs and always had fun, so.....

As others have said, it's open to civilians. I ran the one at ft. Carson the first year they did it. Was a lot of fun. Then I ran it again the next year and it was really crowded and not much fun because I spent just as much time waiting in line as I did actually moving.

That was a few years ago, so maybe the fad behind obstacle course races has died down since then, but I think the shortness of the course down there attracted a lot of over wieght/out of shape people who thought a few miles wouldn't be too hard......I was catching up to people who had a 15 minute head start within a few minutes of my start.
