BUT if you buy a 60 foot gooseneck you can put the camper and the lexus behind your new tow rig so you don't have to worry about cutting your new duratracs on the trail :D

haha. Nice. I love when those things pop up on my phone. A perfect example of what not to do...me practicing unsafe recovery techniques with tow straps while straddling a highlift in the days before I had my winch :anonymous: That was when I first moved out here.

This was one of those situations where I should have quit spinning my wheels before I got so far off trail. Looking at the photo, there had to be a series of stupid decisions that got me there.

I'll be there at the end of April for a week or so, climbing and driving. I just got the Taco so I'm still stock (mostly, weathertechs ftw) but I know she'll make it a few places anyways.

@Deathbysnusnu just did a front winch that way, and I was curious as to what he used but too lazy to sign in at the time and ask. I got the impression from the picture though that lining up with existing holes wasn't a concern (or rather a custom metal piece solves it, since I assume he fabbed the whole thing).

Live and learn! Pretty sure you were in rwd just like i was on the switchbacks, but you had a little more speed which carried you further down. And as usual, it looks flat and it sure wasn't.
