Never forget that feeling of joy after getting everything back together, big smile on my face, and then seeing that shield laying there...:homer:

Went over to a buddies house yesterday to rotate my wheels while they were lifting a gx470. Those monkeys forgot the dust shield as well.

Are you having them install the OME parts when they do the swap? New ubolts I think are included but they may not be long enough.

If your getting a new frame you should be getting new spring eye bolts as well. I'm pretty sure new factory leaf springs are included with the frame. If they're installing the OMEf for someone may be interested in a factory pack out there.

For the rear brake line its going to depend on how far your shocks let the axle droop. If they're factory replacements you should be fine. I ran the factory line for quite some time with the OME shocks. There are two different valvings for our trucks for the rears you'll likely want the heavier one. If you do add the shackle you will be limiting your droop quite a bit by the OME shocks.

Again your shock will determine if you need bumps. You should be getting new ones with the frame as well. With the OME nitro chargers you won't need after market bumps. If your fine with the harsher impact when hitting them they'll be fine.

If you're not set on the Dakar leaves give Alcan a call with and they'll be able to make you springs to match your weight and lift you want. They were in the $700-800 ballpark 2 years ago when I got some. Not cheap.

Hey gents, been a while since I’ve come through this thread. Still on track to be living in the Springs by December.

Sold the Tacoma to get the wife a 2019 Sienna due to our 3rd child being born and the need for more room. Dealer also gave us a deal that was hard to pass up.

She’s loving the van, I’m having withdrawals and already itching to get back into a Tacoma.

I’ll be in the market for a 1st gen 4x4 when I get there. Hopefully find a good deal through a fellow TW member.

I cleaned it up and repainted for him.

Most of the peasants that live down in the springs don't use TW. They do their wheeling trips and get togethers through Facebook.

That being said, don't turn into a peasant! :D
