You all ever head the Wicked Weed French Toast Imperial stout? It's not a breakfast beer...it IS breakfast.

 

I had a Weldwerks PB&J Kettle-soured wheat ale the other day. It was a bit too chalky for my palate since I can taste powders used in drinks/foods (like chocolate ice cream - too chalky).

Brewed with peanut flour, strawberry puree and milk sugar, this kettle soured wheat ale brings two different worlds together and makes 'em the best of friends, just like you and your 4th grade locker buddy.

 

All the lactose in those beers kills me.....

 

They make beer without adding lactose and use oats instead for the mouth feel.

 

So... Looks like we'll be making our way from Phoenix to Ft Carson CO starting Friday and all day Saturday.

… areas know where we can find some good Tacos?

 

Tomasitas in Santa Fe

 

Food trucks from 12-5(?) on Saturday at Fontaine Blvd just west of Hwy 85. Just north of Mesa Ridge exit (McGrath road goes west from Mesa Ridge straight into Carson). Tacos and many other delightful foods there. That’s all I can think of, as we usually make our own. Yes, there’s a 3 Margaritas (Mexican food) there, but they seem really really greasy IMO

Alive and well

 

Planted grass seed for the first time in my life.
Some areas sprouted on Friday, the excitement was second only to my children being born.
Will this snow kill my precious baby grass?
I don't know if I can handle such heartbreak.
If nobody knows the answer I will have to wait and see what the fate of my seedlings is.

Well to be fair it's nothing like the New Mexico region.
