    Opinions on lunchbox lockers?

Re gearing and arb locking my land cruiser would cost more than i have in the entire vehicle so thats out (low buck truck).

Other locking diff options that are cheap?

Should i just buy light bars instead?

Yikes, no way. Cruiser is also my winter truck so even with lunchboxes i would only leave them in may-oct.

I have a auto locker in the front and don't think it's as terrible as everyone acts. I have the ADD wired so I can control it so I only put power to the driver side. This makes things easier to turn but you will get lots of torque steer this way. I never use it much on the street in snow as 2wd is usually sufficient in Winter Park.

Word, all of the tire wear and none of the unpredictability of a lunch box locker

I welded the corners of the spider gears together but decided not to leave it alone and figured some 1/4 plate would be dandy too.

Not too worried about breaking stuff unless I get into the 37"+ tires

I approve this message @Wulf
I don’t get the lockers are bad in bad weather nonsense. Know what they do and how they act, drive accordingly. I’ve spent past ten years or so driving locked on both ends year round more often than not. They undo some of the dummy electronics and you have to actually drive it at that point.
