Or to not post at all but thanks for telling me what I could have done. One could say that your post was equally uncalled for.

I made a simple comment tongue in cheek that I think most understood. It was done at that. sean266 chose to be rude to me and continue the topic. How is it I'm bickering? If I have to kiss ass then I'm not going to make any friends here and I'm fine with that. I've got a lot to offer the community in terms of my length of experience modifying vehicles but if I'm not going to get a fair shot because I'm new here then there's not much I can do about that nor will I try.

Please, tell me what 'way' it is I'm acting.

Since it's pretty clear some aren't willing to let this be, let's just review what it is I've done here so far.

I offered some information that would benefit me IN NO WAY and did so only to help out other forum members. When my idea was attacked by wrongful information (by someone who admittedly felt I was taking money out of his pocket) I merely attempted to straighten out the misinformation for those who didn't know any different because, again, I already had used this solution and knew better but I was trying to help others out who were interested in knowing more about it. I wasn't willing to let the misinformation sit as fact to those who aren't familiar with this and I'm sure not many of you would have allowed the same thing. The debate of misinformation quickly turned into personal attacks on me which I continually ignored and tried to keep it on the discussion to get facts out. When I was finally tired of the personal attacks I fought fire with fire.

How am I the bad guy again? Oh, that's right... because I'm the newest.

It's pretty clear that you guys have a nice little click that doesn't take kindly to outsiders so I'll just step out and make my life easier. I thought it was cool to find a nice local group of guys with whom I could share ideas with and we could mutually benefit from but it's pretty clear this isn't what I thought it was. No loss to me so you guys can have your little group and just think I'm the biggest jerk ever when I really didn't do anything that any one of you wouldn't have done. I don't wish ill will on anyone here I just don't want to be part of a group like that. I didn't know about this thread/group before I was told about it and my life wasn't any more unfulfilled then so I have zero problems going back to that. I will also be sure to warn others who are new and may have something to offer to stay away since it's a members only club and outsiders receive the lynch mob mentality welcome. It's like Jr. High in here.

I'm off to less drama filled conversations...

There are lots of other newbies that joined with no problems.

I welcome any and all new ideas, new technology, fab knowledge, troubleshooting ideas, etc. This is what makes the forum exciting and helpful.

I will actually be looking into programs on my phone like the one described for future vehicles like a nice big Tundra. The topic just got out of hand when one, then the other felt that they were being attacked. The biggest problem about it is that it wont die. Let it die. One should be able to ask a question about UG or about other apps without going back to the arguments.

You shouldn't really care what I think about you and I don't care what you think about me. You are welcome to hang out here and BS, that is what this thread is for.

If you feel like you have to constantly defend yourself, then you may want to leave. The internet is full of trolls and sarcasm. I apologize if you feel this thread is full of personal attacks on you.

Please do not reply to this post with another explanation, no one really cares. That is the honest truth. Everyone wants to hang out without drama and you keep posting in a way that continues to elevate the drama level.
