Anyone have a good place to get a cheap/used spare wheel/tire? Recently went up to 255/80/17 and don't have any interest in paying full price for a matching wheel/tire combo.

 

Oh dont be cheap Kris. You will lose more eaf points with an odd spare than you gained with the tires in the first place if you skimp on the finish.

I believe my current spare is right around that size. But it's my understanding I would need another 255/80/17 if I don't want the differential working overtime.

 

Buying a fresh new SEMA wheel and throwing it under the truck to get beat up doesn't sound appealing to me haha

 

I have SEMA wheels w/ Cooper 255/80/17's

My spare is a Double Standard with a Nitto 285/70/17 on it

I have a 235/85r16 - it’s a perfect tiny donut spare. I’m over on the west side if you want it. Case of beer.
