Cinnamon Pass is now open. Still need to go from Animas Forks to California Gulch and Hurricane Pass to get to Silverton. A long line of FJ Cruisers headed up 550 today as I was coming down to Durango.

Got the boy a new backpack and had to get a patch for it. Came with 2 so now....

I think you qualify for this patch if you've ever had @Squeaky Penguin spot you through an obstacle neither of you are familiar with and he makes this face when you screw up.

Can any body recommend a good shop to handle a regear for a second gen taco with elocker? Would like to find a shop that is in Colorado springs or south towards pueblo ( closer to pueblo would be better for me ).

Thanks, I really like how they turned out with the 32’s. Load Range C tires are way better than the E I had before. 20psi makes it feel like I’m driving on an ice rink with how smooth it feels with the OME suspension.

idk why no one makes non-e rated tires in 285/75r16 given how popular they are with tacomas and 4runners...

Anybody in the Colorado Springs area have a hookup or work at a rental car agency?

Needing a van to rent for a couple weeks while we wait for our family car to ship there after we move to the area.

Expedia has some outrageous prices and Turo wasn’t much better.

    Thanks!

Do you know what gears they use? Springs is close enough that I can take down time to get it done and not take time off work.

Have you thought about buying something cheap then selling it once you no longer need it?

I can't imagine it will be cheap to rent for long term from anyone

I brought them my gears I bought and had nitro. He wasn’t a fan of them and says they are harder to setup. So not sure what he uses. Want to say Yukon but can’t say for sure

BFG made the 285/70/17's in C, I just wish they would do the same for 16's. But since thats not an option I'm thinking about going with 295/17/16 to replace my 285's at the end of the year. Anyone running 295's?

First I've heard of this, and my initial reaction is... why? I mean, it makes sense for the ultimate head of the BLM to be in Washington with lawmakers and the heads of all the other agencies. That said, I don't know enough about it to have a really informed opinion, and that article is somewhat lacking on details. The director doesn't exist now but is going to be created/appointed? It's only for the 'Western region'? The comments about it being a move to 'dismantle or reduce the influence of' the BLM (which happens to fit with my reaction). It does make sense the HQ would be closer to where all the land they manage is, but seems like there'd be a lot of travel back to DC too - and GJ instead of Denver (where part of the relocation apparently would happen, to Lakewood which is already a major hub for land agencies)…

I'd be curious about what employees within the BLM think about it, or what context or story they could add. All I know is they manage a whole lot of land with significantly fewer resources, relatively speaking, than some of the other agencies.
